Simplexology – 10 Simple Truths

1. Serve Others

Serving others is simple…it’s about lending a helping hand, going the extra mile and showing someone that you genuinely care.  Here at Simplex, we are passionate about serving our patients and each other.


2. Embrace and Drive Change

Simplex is constantly evolving and part of working in a hyper-growth company is that change is constant. Although change can and will come from all directions, it's important that most of the change at Simplex be driven from the bottom up -- from the people who are on the front lines and closest to the customers and/or issues. We never want to accept or become too comfortable with the status quo.


3. Seek Growth & Knowledge

At Simplex, we believe it's important for employees to grow personally and professionally. It's important to constantly challenge and stretch yourself. We want you in a job where you feel like you are growing and learning. We believe that inside everyone at Simplex there is more potential than even you may realize. Our goal/responsibility is to help you unlock that potential in yourself. This isn’t a one-way street, but rather a joint effort; you have to want to challenge and stretch yourself in order for it to happen.

A kind word to someone, a friendly smile, or holding a door open to the person who is about to enter, is really easy to do wouldn’t you say?  Here at Simplex we say, “Nice goes a long way”, which simply means treat others as you would like to be treated.

9. Be Passionate

Passion is the fuel that can and will continue to drive us and Simplex forward.  We value passion, determination, perseverance, and the sense of urgency.  We are inspired because we believe in what we are doing and where we are going. We don’t take “no” or “that’ll never work” for an answer because if we had, then Simplex would have never started in the first place.  Passion and determination are contagious. We believe in having a positive, realistic, and optimistic attitude about everything we do because we realize that this inspires others to have the same attitude.  There is excitement in knowing that everyone you work with has a tremendous impact on a larger dream and vision, and you can see that impact day in and day out.


10. Be Humble

Humility is an important virtue. Learning to be humble is of paramount importance as it helps you develop as a person and enjoy richer relationships with others.
While we have grown quickly in the past, we recognize that there are always challenges ahead to tackle.  We believe that no matter what happens we should always be respectful of everyone.  While we celebrate our individual and team successes, we are not arrogant nor do we treat others differently from how we would want to be treated.  Instead, we carry ourselves with a quiet confidence because we believe that, in the long run, our character will speak for itself.
